A tornado watch was issued for Mississippi, Alabama, Louisiana, and Tennessee on Monday afternoon.

The watch lasts until 9 p.m. CT, according to reports.

The tornado watch comes after tornadoes struck the central United States--namely Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Kansas--killing several people.

Several towns in Arkansas were leveled by a tornado near Little Rock.
