Police Shoot Man Who Fired Gun at Ice Cube Concert

A man who fired a gun into a crowd outside an Ice Cube concert in San Diego has been shot by police.

Daniel Elizarraras, 22, from Escondido, was told that the show was sold out at around 6:40 p.m. on Sept. 2, after which he got into an argument, according to the San Diego Sheriff’s Homicide Unit.

Elizarraras proceeded to pull out “a silver-plated semi-automatic handgun,” police said, firing several shots into the crowd outside the Del Mar racetrack.

4 Missing After Boats Collide, Sink on Colorado River

Four people are missing after two boats crashed and sunk on the Colorado River, ejecting more than a dozen people who were on board, authorities said Sunday.

A recreational boat carrying 10 people and another vessel with six people on board collided head-on Saturday night on a well-traveled stretch of the river that marks the border between California and Arizona, the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement.
