Tom Cruise is looking to sell his estate in the mountains outside Telluride, Colorado, for $59 million, because he doesn’t have time to use the property, according to listing agent Bill Fandel of Sotheby’s International Realty.
Positioned on a rise overlooking the region’s towering 14,000-foot peaks, the property, at 115 San Francisco Way, was completed in 1994 after several years of construction.
The 10,000-square-foot main house has four bedrooms, six bathrooms, a recreation room, a library and a gym. The 1,600-square-foot guesthouse has three bedrooms and three bathrooms.
Both buildings are crafted with bleached cedar timbers, dovetail joinery, and native stone.
The property is threaded with a system of private trails that provide gated access into the surrounding National Forest.
It is less than 10 minutes from the Telluride Regional airport, which recently underwent a $53m upgrade to improve access for long-range private aircraft.
The listing was announced October 30.
