I thought it might be nice to celebrate the July 4th holiday by talking about ways to decorate using red, white and blue. It is a classic combination that many people might avoid, but it can work well for those seeking a classic look.

In this boy’s room, I selected a red, white and blue theme. The night stands and bedding are white which helps to create the neutral palette. Red table lamps, a navy toss pillow and art with all three colors completes the look.
