Merging three lanes in less than a second usually isn’t a good idea---no matter what kind of car you’re driving.

This driver found that out the hard way.

According to the uploader, the footage was captured at the Clearview Expressway in Queens, New York City.

The car that attempted the risky merge was a Subaru WRX STI.

“Speeding fella does not account for stop-and-go traffic and an eighteen wheeler’s blind spots,” the uploader wrote, adding that he got “owned,” but no one was injured.
