Selfie sticks are great for those times when you want to snap a photo of yourself. Unfortunately, they are far from convenient. The gadget is clunky and has a tendency to jam when you need it the most. Conventional selfie sticks also take up space inside your bag, and aren’t pocket-friendly.

A solution to this worldwide issue is Stikbox. The device combines two essential smartphone accessories: a phone case and a selfie stick. Read on to find out how the robust device fits into your upbeat lifestyle.

Pull and Snap

The smartphone case is pretty straight forward. When taking a selfie, simply unload the stick by pulling the end of the attachment. To adjust the angle of the shot, you'll have to rotate the case. When you’re done, the stick retracts back into the case. There is also a kickstand mode that allows you to use the case as a hands-free stand on a flat surface. For now, the unit is available for the following mobile devices: iPhone 6/6s, iPhone 6 Plus/6s Plus and Samsung s6/s6 Edge+.

“One day I was walking through the market and I saw a stand that was selling selfie sticks and phone cases,” said Stikbox founder and CEO Yekutiel Sherman. “I asked ‘why carry two things, when you can carry one?’ With Stikbox, users get the functionality of both a protective phone case and a selfie stick all in one, which stays with them no matter where they go.”

Sturdy Case Specifications

When fully extended, the Stikbox measures 28.3 inches. Made out aluminum, it is more than capable of supporting your phone- even under windy conditions. As a whole, the case doesn’t add much bulk to the actual mobile device. There aren’t any pieces sticking out, so you can slide your phone in and out of your pocket with ease. The case comes in the following color options: blue, white, black, red, green, purple and pink.
