In an interview with actress Jennifer Lawrence, a reporter couldn’t help but ask about the upcoming “Hunger Games: Mockingjay—Part 1” film, which Lawrence was shooting in Paris.
Posted on the Italian news Youtube site, BadTaste.it, the interview took place on the red carpet for the recently released “X-Men: Days of Future Past,” film which Lawrence was promoting.
“Can you tell us what’s the last scene that you shot?” the reporter asks.
“The last scene that we shot... Well, we just shot the last scene going through the outside of Capital, where Boggs... oh wait, I can’t do this, can I?” Lawrence pauses.
“I don’t know,” then said the reporter.
“You’ve read the books, I don’t know what I can do... Boggs just died!!!” Lawrence shouted at the reporter who was willing to give up the questioning.
Although fans say that Lawrence didn’t really reveal a spoiler, since in the books the plot is the same, it’s true that directors sometimes stray from the original novel plot line.
Boggs, played by Mahershala Ali will make an appearance in the both Mockingjay Part 1 and Part 2. In the film, Boggs is President Coin’s right hand man until Katniss Everdeen “offers to assume the role of the Mockingjay,” according to the Hunger Games Wiki. Bogg’s task will be to protect Everdeen. The soldier will die from gun shot wounds.
“The Hunger Games: Mockingjay—Part 1” will be released in theaters on November 21, 2014.
