Ryan Seacrest Builds Media Wonderland at Kids’ Hospital
Media mogul and “American Idol” host Ryan Seacrest, 36, accompanied by teen stars Selena Gomez and Joe Jonas, attended a ribbon-cutting ceremony last week to launch a project at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia called “The Voice.”
Sponsored by the Ryan Seacrest Foundation, “The Voice” is an interactive, multi-media center built inside the hospital where sick children can participate in radio and broadcast activities, including being a DJ or conducting interviews—often with celebrity guests. The programs are then shown on closed-circuit television throughout the hospital.
The first of such media wonderlands has been established at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, in Seacrest’s home state of Georgia.
