Mariah Carey and husband Nick Cannon, who were at first coy about releasing the names of their newborn twins upon their arrival last week, have revealed that their son is named Moroccan Scott Cannon, who they plan to call “Roc,” and their daughter is named Monroe Cannon.
The couple announced the names on Carey’s official website. Moroccan’s name was inspired by the decor theme of Carey’s top tier in her New York City apartment, the spot where her husband proposed to her. David Beckham in Minor Collision
Soccer superstar David Beckham, 36, was in a minor car collision in Los Angeles this past weekend. Reports indicate that Beckham was driving his black Cadillac on the 405 Freeway, when he rear-ended a broken-down vehicle that was in the carpool lane.
According to a report in TMZ, sources say that while neither Beckham nor his oldest son Brooklyn (who was reportedly in the car with him) required any medical attention, the driver of the other vehicle was taken to the hospital. No charges or tickets against Beckham have been issued.
