The Avengers 2, also known as Age of Ultron, will include three different versions of Ultron throughout the movie.
“His original state is very rudimentary, but, as he does in the comics, Ultron is constantly upgrading. He is coated in Vibranium and spends the film seeking out more of the raw material to continue his ‘upgrades,’” reported JoBlo, citing a source.
“James Spader is playing the titular villain and our source says that he will be doing mo-cap for at least one iteration of the character, meaning that Ultron may be much more than ‘just a helmet’ at some point.”
Another big change is upgraded (or, at least, changed) costumes for most if not all of the characters.
Most of the costumes will include the Avengers logo. Hawkeye’s new costume has been the most commented on, as it’s reminiscent of his costume in the comics.
Hulk will have pants that can stretch when he grows and shrinks, while Black Widow will have two batons that have the ability to shock people.
The source also said that Tony Stark is bankrolling The Avenegers following the dissolution of S.H.I.E.L.D. in Captain America 2 and its subsequent “handover” to Phil Coulson in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
The Avengers are now housed in the former Stark Tower, which is now called the Avengers Tower. Like his former headquarters, there’s lots of R&D going on inside.
