The nominations for the 2016 Daytime Emmys were announced on March 24 in a special hosted by the women of the “The Talk” on CBS.
The 43rd annual Awards will consist of 20 major categories, including many those we’ve seen before like outstanding actor in a drama series, and outstanding supporting actress in a drama series. This year also includes new categories like outstanding actress in a digital daytime drama series, and outstanding actor in a digital daytime drama series.
The women of the “The Talk” themselves are also nominated for outstanding talk show.
