The 100 on CW had an intense episode on Wednesday night, with the kids on Earth trying to avoid a dense fog that rolled in and burned whoever it touched.

Clarke, Finn, and Wells ended up in an old van, where they waited out the fog.

Clarke confronted Wells on telling his father about her father’s plan to warn the people on the Ark about the oxygen problem, but he said he couldn’t give her an answer about why he did it. Finn seemed to figure it out the next morning. “Are you sure he did it?” he asked Clarke. “Yes, he’s the only one I told,” she said.

“But was he the only one who knew?” he asked. A flashback confirmed that it was Clarke’s mother.

On Earth, several of the kids suffered from fog exposure with huge swells on their bodies and trouble breathing. One of Bellamy’s crew died--Adam.

Also, Clarke and the others work to make Jasper well again.

Near the end of the episode, Wells was killed by 13-year-old Charlotte, who said that she was having nightmares about Wells’ father killing her parents.

The description for the next episode [spoilers ahead] says that Finn and Clarke become romantically involved while trying to deal with Wells’ death.

Meanwhile, Bellamy must keep the group from turning on one another as life on Earth takes a desperate turn.

And Abby risks having herself floated in order to give Raven the chance to stow-away in the escape pod bound for Earth.
