Thanksgiving Day

Subways: Sunday schedule.

Buses: Sunday schedule.

Ferry: All ferries closed except for Hoboken/14th Street to Midtown. Last boats 8:00 p.m. and 8:10 p.m., respectively. Port Imperial/Weehawken to Midtown/West 39 Street, last boat 10:10 p.m. from Midtown.
Routes run every 20 minutes

Metro North: It is recommended that you purchase tickets in advance due to the holiday rush. Harlem and New Haven lines have extra inbound morning service and outbound late morning and early afternoon service, with off-peak fares in effect until Monday. The Port Jervis and Pascack Valley line has a regular Sunday schedule with additional bus connections.

Long Island Rail Road: 22 extra trains and additional cars will be added, including 9 extra westbound and 13 extra eastbound trains.

Black Friday

Subway: Weekday service schedule. L Trains end starting Friday at 10:40 p.m. for the weekend; some stops open until midnight. The 7 trains between Times Square and Queensboro Plaza end at 11:30 p.m. for the weekend.

Buses: Weekday service schedule. Will not stop on Fifth Avenue or Sixth Avenue at 49 Street and 50 Street until Jan. 7, 2012.

Ferry: All ferries open with limited to full service.

Metro North: Harlem and New Haven lines are on a Saturday schedule with extra service including extra inbound trains between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. The Port Jervis and Pascack Valley Line has a regular weekday schedule with changes in inbound bus departure times.

Long Island Rail Road: Normal weekday schedule with off-peak fares all day.
