This Friday, August 8, NTD Television’s “Food Paradise” program will hold a culinary feast event at the Thai Buddhist Temple in Queens, New York. CiCi Li is the anchor of NTD’s “Food Paradise,” a popular food program exploring Asian and Western culinary traditions. In the Thai Buddhist Temple’s kitchen, CiCi will work with renowned chefs, who will each construct a dish of their choice that is worthy of belonging to a “food paradise.”
Upon completion, two lucky audience members will be picked to taste the various dishes. At the event, local bubble tea, Thai noodles, papaya salad, and other foods will be offered to everyone for free!
This event has a lot of cultural significance; Food Paradise’s host CiCi invites everyone to experience a bit of Thai culture and touch upon Thailand’s Buddhist beliefs. Perhaps the elements of Thai culture will provide further inspiration for the chefs to complete the task CiCi has given: to create a dish belonging in a “Food Paradise.”
Coincidentally, August 8 is also Father’s Day in Taiwan. Bring your fathers to come taste various dishes at this once-in-a-lifetime culinary experience.
