A shooting at a church in Kirbyville, Texas, left a man dead, the sister of the victim reportedly said on Sunday.
Juanita Jones said her brother, 34-year-old Curtis Paul Jones, was killed after he was shot three times at Belgrade Baptist Church, reported 12 News Now.
Jones told the station she believes the assailant was the church’s pastor, who is also her uncle.
The Newton County Sheriff’s Office told the station that they could not release any information about the shooting pending an investigation.
The victim’s name and the alleged gunman have not been confirmed by police.
