Teenager Charged in Greeneville, Tennessee After Car Crash Following Police Pursuit Leaves 3 Dead

An 18-year-old Tennessee man has been charged with vehicular homicide after evading police and getting into a single-vehicle crash, leaving three dead.

Lucas Riddle was speeding and refused to stop for a Greeneville police officer’s flashing lights before losing control and slamming into a tree on Old Tusculum Road.

Three passengers, identified by WCYB as Aaron Overbay, 38, Crystal Manis, 31, and Jerrod Wardrip, age unknown---died at the scene of the Sunday night wreck.

The Tennessee Highway Patrol told the Greeneville Sun that no one in the 2004 Honda UEX was wearing a seatbelt.

Riddle has been charged with 3 counts criminal negligent homicide.
