Teen Wolf season 4 episode 1 is set for a June 23, 2014 premiere date. The new season is going to be a lot different than season 3.
The differences will be evident even in the first episode, which takes place in Mexico.
Let’s check out what else we know so far:
-The good guys are going to meet with challenges. “I came up with an idea, literally just couple of weeks ago. It comes out of real-life issues ... and you'll see it brings in some new villains and some very difficult times for Scott and his friends and his family,” creator Jeff Davis told Zap2It. “There’s a feeling of ‘The Empire Strikes Back’ in Season 4.”
-Kira, Malia, and Lydia will feature prominently in season 4. “One of the things that I really like in season four is the friendship developing between Kira, Malia and Lydia,” Davis told Entertainment Weekly. “We have this trio of girls who are becoming a very powerful part of the show, which is just awesome.”
-Kira and Scott will become romantically involved. “At the beginning of it, it’s going to be a little bit of a ‘are they together, are they not together?' Kira doesn’t know what to do, she doesn’t know how much space to give him. Scott doesn’t know what to do either, because he wants to be a gentleman, and respect the girl he loved who is now dead, but he’s also a teenager and he’s falling in love,” Davis said. “Those are going to be struggles and they are going to have slowly find their way to romance again. We like the idea of a slow burn for them, where as for other romances on the show may be all physical at first, but the difficult thing for them is actually being with each other and not being physical.”
-There will also be “growing feelings” between Malia and Stiles. “You’ll have to wait to see where they are in the first episode, but I’ll definitely say that Malia complicates things, both romantically and in the pack,” Davis told TVLine. “Scott is going to accept her into his pack, and her relationship with Peter is going to become a major complication as well.
-Even though it was announced that Isaac (Daniel Sharman) is not going to return for season 4, that might not be the case. “Whether it’s season four or season five, I would say there’s a good possibility of it,” Davis said. Even though Isaac and Argent left for France at the end of season 3, Argent will be a part of season 4.
-A new character in season 4 will be an unnamed cocky lacrosse player from a rival school who will stir up trouble in episode 5. There’s also going to be a new math teacher at Beacon High.
