Several “devices” exploded outside of a Chinese Communist Party provincial headquarters in Taiyuan, located in China’s Shanxi Province, on Tuesday, it was reported.
The AFP news agency said that several apparently explosive devices went off.
“There were several explosions caused by small explosive devices near the party provincial commission in Taiyuan,” a police official said via social media, reported AFP.
The state-run Xinhua news agency also confirmed there was a blast, according to Reuters.
Early reports say that at least one person was injured.
