New photos from Super Smash Bros 4, an upcoming game for Nintendo 3DS and Wii U, show some of the characters’ moves in detail.
The game is slated to be released on 3DS this summer and Wii U this winter, and has been a hot topic lately after a screenshot was leaked and allegedly shows every character in the game, including some that haven’t been publicly announced (see the full list below).
The price was also allegedly leaked. It shows that the game will be priced $59.96 for Wii U and $39.99 for 3DS.
Meanwhile, the photos from game director Masashiro Sakurai show the characters in greater detail. In the one above, Yoshi is doing his Egg Throw, which will now leave a rainbow trail.
Zero Suit Samus fires the Paralyzer.
“Every staff member is working hard as we brush up whatever we can,” he told fans.
Another photo gives a glimpse of a biting attack from Charizard, one of the playable characters recently announced for the game.
Fellow Pokemon Greninja will also be playable.
Another photo shows Mario and Link with weapons.
Sakurai said that the screenshot illustrates how, for the first time in the Smash series, Beam Swords will feature graduated items.
“The attack item on the left is the Fire Bar,” he added. “This is a peculiar weapon that becomes shorter after each swing.”
