A lawyer for Steven Avery, the subject of Netflix’s “Making a Murderer,” said that she has an “airtight alibi” for him.

Kathleen Zellner, who is a well-known wrongful conviction attorney, has been looking into the best ways to appeal Avery’s conviction in the murder of Teresa Halbach. She has sent out tweets to comment and notes on how she is doing.

Cellphone tower records show that Halbach, who was last seen alive at Avery's property, did leave the premises while Avery stayed there.
