Broadway actor Christopher Tierney, who plays villain Kraven the Hunter in the new Broadway show “Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark” is recuperating in the hospital (and took his first steps) following back surgery after falling 30 feet off the set earlier last week.
Tierney, who reportedly suffered four broken ribs, a hairline skull fracture, a bruised lung, cracks in three vertebrae, broken bones below the elbow, and internal bleeding, will face rehabilitation therapy once released from the hospital—which may be as soon as next week.
Although it is still unclear when and if the actor will return to the show, his father told the Associated Press that the production team is “eagerly awaiting his return. He just felt so blessed to be part of this whole creative process, and he just cannot wait to get back and perform in the show.”
