An actor was injured on the set of the Broadway musical “Spider-man: Turn Off the Dark” during the performance on Thursday night, leading to the cancellation of the show.

Emergency responders were called to the Foxwoods Theatre on West 42nd street shortly after 9 p.m., reported NBC

The actor’s leg had gotten pinned by some equipment backstage.

The actor was taken to Bellevue Hospital in “serious condition” and the show was cancelled.

The show’s spokesman, Rick Miramontez, says more information will be made available Friday.

It was just the latest in a series of accidents that have left several actors in the stunt-heavy $75 million show hurt or hospitalized.

An August 6 performance was canceled, but it wasn’t due to an injury. An unspecified technical difficulty left the theatre refunding people. People who had bought tickets through Ticketmaster were automatically refunded, while for tickets purchased through other means, people had to contact their point of purchase for a refund, according to the show’s website
