A survivor of the Spanish train crash messaged her husband after the crash and said she didn’t know if she'd make it out alive.

“Accident,” Susana Relaño, 46, said via the WhatsApp system. “Don’t know if I'll make it out. Stifling. Crushed.”

She did survive the crash, reported El Pais.

She messaged her husband five minutes later saying she was “safe and sound.” She had just a few scratches on her legs, but her purse was covered with blood.
