The solar eclipse in 2013 on November 3 has turned out to be beautiful, shared through pictures from people around the world.

People on the east coast of the United States; the northern part of South America; southern Europe; the Middle East; and pretty much all of Africa caught the eclipse.

In fact, the longest viewing times were in Africa.
