After the “Modern Family” star Sarah Hyland showed up alone to the Emmys, there were rumors speculating that she broke up with long-time boyfriend Matt Prokop. The two have been dating since 2008. Her publicist then confirmed that the couple have indeed split.
Hyland, 23, however, didn’t seem too saddened by the fact at the 66th Primetime Emmy Awards on Monday, August 25, 2014.
Sources at the award ceremony’s after party confirmed that Hyland was spotted dancing with co-star Sofia Vergara and her 21-year old son, Manolo Gonzalez.
Hyland and Gonzalez have been friends for some time now, especially since Hyland broke up with her boyfriend, Gonzalez has been providing a shoulder to cry on and they have been in close contact.
Vergara is also said to be happy about a possible union, especially since she works closely with Hyland, and the two would be within her sight.
