Regular users of Sky apps and Android devices will not be surprised to read about another problem in this marriage of convenience. Sky’s forums are chock full of entries about how their apps crash whenever Android is updated.  Lollipop, aka Android 5.0, is no different.

Many Sky users are already mightily upset, given that their apps rarely work on rooted devices. Now those installing Sky Go are greeted with the message above. Apparently this is also the case in other Sky apps that stream services, in particular Sky Movies. Clicking on the link takes you to this webpage:

Highly annoying, particularly given that the date at the bottom is over a month ago.  So the question, dear friends, is which is the most important – Lollipop or Sky Go? Don’t be greedy and expect to have both…
