“The colors were just awesome,” Ms. Canada said. “I couldn’t get over how pretty everything was and how pristine every movement was,” she said.

She thought it was animated, lively, and told beautiful stories.

Ms. Canada learned a lot about the Han Dynasty from the Han Imperial Air, where against the backdrop of an imperial court, men of the Han dynasty parade in dignified splendor, according to the program book.

According to the company’s website, “Shen Yun’s mini-drama pieces draw upon stories and legends that span China’s history from the Yellow Emperor and through the Tang and Song dynasties and all the way to the modern day.”

That was really interesting,“ Mrs. Canada said. ”I could really feel a love of the culture through the dance and it really touched me. I was very surprised that I would just love it so much. I was enthralled,” she said.
