Heavy rainfall is believed to have caused the roof at Brown’s Manassas Hyundai in Virginia to collapse on Friday evening, injuring one person, it was reported.
The Manassas Volunteer Fire Company posted on its Facebook page that the roof collapsed.
One injured person was evaluated by the medic unit after “major damage to the building,” which was caused “most likely due to the storm that just came through,” the page said.
A witness told Inside Nova, which first reported on the collapse, that she went to the dealership to get her car serviced and saw that the showroom was destroyed.
Manassas and most of the Washington D.C. area was hit with heavy rains.
