Donald Trump is banned from “Late Night With Seth Meyers.”

“When it comes to bigotry, Trump keeps upping his game,” Seth Meyers said during the June 14 airing. “So as long as the Washington Post is banned from Donald Trump’s campaign, Donald Trump will be banned from ever coming on this show.”

Meyers added, “To be fair, he wasn’t coming on anyway. He had no interest in being here.”

In the wake of the Orlando massacre, where Omar Mateen, 29, opened fire in Orlando’s Pulse nightclub with a Sig Sauer MCX assault-style rifle, killing 49 and injuring 53 others, presumptive Republican nominee Donald Trump reiterated his plans for tougher immigration.

“When I am elected, I will suspend immigration from areas of the world when there is a proven history of terrorism against the United States, Europe or our allies, until we understand how to end these threats,” said Trump. “They have put political correctness above common sense, above your safety, and above all else.”

Trump added, “The Obama Administration, with the support of Hillary Clinton and others, has also damaged our security by restraining our intelligence-gathering and failing to support law enforcement.”

Mateen reportedly called 911 to pledge his allegiance to the Islamic State, or ISIS, terrorist group during the attack. ISIS later congratulated Mateen for the attack through its official news channel.

Meyers was in full disagreement with Trump’s remarks.

“To be clear, this is bigotry, plain and simple,” he said. “To claim that any group of people—immigrants or anyone else—has anything in common with a terrorist murderer based simply on their ethnic background or religion or where they’re from is dangerous and wrong.”

Actor George Clooney has also slammed Trump for his comments.

“That is the real problem with Trump—his ideas bleed into the rest of the world. That he says, ‘I’m gonna find every terrorist, and I’m gonna find their family, and I’m gonna execute them.’ I’m not gonna let him walk away from that. I’m gonna execute a family?!” Clooney said in an interview with Esquire. “That’s a war crime of the highest level that no one would do. When you say that, that tells all the other people, Okay, well, if they’re saying that, then why don’t we?”

Trump has yet to comment on the ban from Meyer.
