LONDON− Serena Williams USA beat Garbine Muguruza of Spain in two straight sets to take 2015 Wimbledon Ladies Singles Title at the All England Tennis and Crocket Club on Saturday July 11. Williams won the first set 6/4 and looked on course to take the second 6/1 but then stuttered to serve out the match. Muguruza broke Williams serve and won her own follow up service game to take the score to 5/3. Williams lost her next service game with Muguruza forcing 3 advantage points and winning the game to make the score 5/4.
But Williams settled and broke Muguruza in the next game to seal the win 6/4, 6/4.
This is the her 6th win in the Wimbledon Singles, her other victories were in 2002, 2003, 2009 2010 and 2012. In addition she has won the Wimbledon Ladies Doubles with sister Venus Williams 5-times.
