Scotiabank is hosting its annual BuskerFest on August 23-26 in support of Epilepsy Toronto.
Performers from all around the world will gather for four days and four nights of fun at the St. Lawrence Market neighbourhood, where the festival is a signature event, while raising awareness for epilepsy, a disorder that affects more than 40,000 Torontonians.
“This is the largest busker festival in North America, and is actually run by a charity,” said Mackenzie Muldoon, Marketing and Entertainment Director of Scotiabank Buskerfest, in a video on the main page of the festival website.
“Last year’s Scotiabank BuskerFest attracted over 1 million spectators and this year promises to be even bigger, with over 100 of the best street performers from both around the world and right here in Toronto,” Scotiabank Buskerfest said in a press release.
