The “Verrückt Meg-A-Blaster” is slated to be the world’s tallest and fastest water slide--now under construction at Kansas City-area park Schlitterbahn.

The company posted photos and a new video online of the slide, which will open on May 23.

“Having the tallest water slide in the world is great not only for Schlitterbahn, but also for Kansas City,” said Layne Pitcher, the marketing director for the park, reported the Kansas City Star.

The slide is around 140 feet tall.

“This new Meg-A-Blaster speed slide is going to wow our guests and is going to be a game changer for our industry,” Henry said. “Our greatest challenge will be to find thrill seekers brave enough to ride.”

Currently, the world’s tallest water slide is the Insano, located in Brazil, which is around 134.5 feet tall. Customers can reach 62.5 mph on the slide.
