A government building in Santa Clara County has been evacuated on Thursday because of a bomb threat.
Deputies with the Santa Clara Sheriff’s Office responded to a bomb threat at 111 W. St. John Street at about 10 a.m. PDT, an employee with the office told ABC.
The threat was received about 9:40 a.m., saying “there’s a bomb in the building,” a sergeant told the Mercury News.
The building has been evacuated, though a court spokesman said no courtrooms have been affected.
Surrounding streets have been shut down and people who were inside the building are standing along Devine Street waiting to get back in.
