Firefighters are responding to a five-alarm fire at an abandoned bowling alley said to be the old San Hi Lanes business in San Bernardino, California, on Tuesday afternoon.

A number of residents say they could see black smoke over the city.

NBC Los Angeles reported that around 80 firefighters are on the scene and responding to the blaze.

The fast-moving fire is said to be threatening nearby buildings.

“This fire is under investigation and is deemed suspicious,” San Bernardino Fire Chief George Avery told the station.

No injuries were reported, CBS Los Angeles reported.

The fire is located at 1500 W. Highland Ave., and it started noon local time.
