Saints wide receiver Joe Morgan was arrested this week on DWI charges, it was reported.
The New Orleans Times-Picayune reported that Morgan, 25, was arrested in Jefferson Parish and was charged with a DWI and driving with no license.
Morgan was found asleep behind the wheel of a disabled vehicle on the Earhart Expressway whe police arrived. State troopers noted that Morgan appeared intoxicated when he was awoken, the paper said.
Police also said Morgan smelled like alcohol and appeared unstable. When he was tested, authorities found that his blood alcohol content was 0.218 percent, nearly three times the limit.
Morgan caught 10 passes for 379 yards and three touchdowns last season.
On Tuesday, it was reported that Jacksonville Jaguars running back Maurice Jones-Drew was charged with battery for an incident over the weekend.
TMZ reported that Jones-Drew allegedly punched a security guard in the face, knocking him out, during an altercation in Florida.
