Actor and comedian Robin Williams says that he wishes to star in the next Batman movie by Christopher Nolan.
“I would do Batman in a second, playing anyone,” the actor told Empire Magazine. When pressed, however, Williams said he has a preference: Most of all, he'd like to portray a Batman villain.

Williams has a history with the Batman films, though he has never starred in one. He was once considered for the role of The Joker in Tim Burton´s 1989 version of Batman. However the role eventually went to Jack Nicholson.
Later rumors had it that Williams was going to be the Riddler in 1995 movie Batman Forever, though in the end Jim Carrey landed that role.
