Led Zeppelin singer Robert Plant got a permanent restraining order against a reportedly obsessed fan.
The fan has to stay 100 yards away from the singer at all times, reported TMZ.
A judge on Wednesday said that fan Alysson Billings, believed to be in her 40s, needs to stay away from Plant at all times for the next three years.
Plant says that Billings has been following him around and harassing him for the past several years. She sent him odd gifts and even made threatening comments to him.
The website reported earlier this month that Billings apparently believes she is in a relationship with Plant even though the two had never met.
“Your betrayal with another woman still stabs my mind,” she allegedly wrote to him, according to TMZ. “This woman is literally evil for you and your life.”
Plant told “60 Minutes” in Australia earlier this year that he would like a Led Zeppelin reunion in 2014.
“They don’t say a word. They’re quite contained in their own worlds and they leave it to me,” he said of his former bandmates. “I’m not the bad guy... You need to see the Capricorns – I’ve got nothing to do in 2014.”
