A viral post that’s been going around recently claims there’s a “sex tape” of Drake and Rihanna leaked by Chris Brown is nothing more than a scam.

The poorly and oddly worded post reads: “[18+ VIDEO] Ríhanná & Dráke Sex tap Leáked By Chrís Brówn A Min Agó ... Dráke said i will kill chris nów.”

However, when users click on the post, they’re taken to a website designed to look like Facebook that tricks users into sharing the post. They’re then directed to a page that displays bogus surveys used to generate revenue for the scammers.

“It is this fake Facebook web page that the scammers want you to ‘like’ or share, which will make it popular. Once the page is popular, these scammers can sell it to online marketers or other scammers. They will also make money from the surveys that are completed by gullible Facebook users who were tricked into completing them,” reads a posting from security website Online Threat Alerts.

It continues: “If you have shared and “liked” this fake Facebook post, please remove all shared Facebook posts and ‘unlike’ it. If you are asked to share, “like”, complete surveys in order to view a video, picture or other content, is first sign that you are being tricked or scammed. You do not need to do any of these things in order to view any content on Facebook and the rest of the internet.”

Facebook offers some advice for scam posts.

It says, “Never click suspicious links, even if they come from a friend or a company you know. This includes links sent on Facebook (ex: in a chat or post) or in emails. If one of your friends clicks on spam they could accidentally send you that spam or tag you in a spammy post. You also shouldn’t download things (ex: a .exe file) if you aren’t sure what they are.”
