ACCRA, Ghana—Ghana’s emergency services have raised the toll of those killed in last week’s gas station explosion and flooding to 200 as distraught residents search for their loved ones.
Torrential rains caused the fuel depot at a gas station to catch fire, killing those who had taken shelter there on Wednesday as well as many in the surrounding neighborhood.
On Monday, many expressed frustration that they had still not found their loved ones in the various hospitals and morgues around the city.
