Trump spokesperson Kellyanne Conway told reporters that the meeting was “excellent.” She further described Trump as “very candid and honest” during the gathering,“ saying there is ”no need to mend fences.”

New York Times executives and other media chiefs are slated visit the Trump Tower in the coming days.

“From my own perspective, it’s great to hit the reset button,” Conway added. “It was a long, hard-fought campaign. Donald Trump proved that he understood America and now he will be president to all Americans.”

CSPAN’s elevator live feed at the Trump Tower showed Zucker, CNN’s Wolf Blitzer, NBC’s Deborah Turness, NBC anchor Lester Holt, CBS’s Charlie Rose, ABC’s George Stephanopoulos, and many more.
