Former Vice President Dick Cheney revealed who got his vote on Election Day.
Cheney, who has largely remained out of the public eye since the end of the Bush administration, revealed that he voted for Donald Trump, reported the Daily Caller. It posted a picture of him wearing a sticker supporting Trump and Vice President-elect Mike Pence.
Former George W. Bush reportedly didn’t vote for president, his spokesman told CNN on Nov. 8, adding that he neither voted for Trump or Hillary Clinton. Instead, he left the president box unchecked.
It’s unclear who George H.W. Bush voted for, but there were reports suggesting he would vote for Hillary Clinton. Cheney served as secretary of defense under George H.W. Bush.
In May, Cheney said he'd vote for Trump.
Cheney’s daughter Liz Cheney, meanwhile, won Wyoming U.S. House seat formerly held by her father, AP reported.
Another member of the Bush administration, former Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld, also endorsed Trump, saying he’s “not untruthful.”
He told MSNBC several months ago: “I look at it and say, I don’t agree with either of them 100 percent of the time, but who do I think would be best for the country, and what do I think is acceptable?”
“I think he’s not untruthful,” Rumsfeld elaborated on the choice between Trump and Clinton. “And I think she is.”
