Actress Reese Witherspoon is now engaged to Hollywood agent Jim Toth, media reports said on Tuesday.
“They are extremely happy,” Witherspoon’s publicist told Us Weekly.
The couple has been in a relationship for about a year, according to CBC News.
Witherspoon will bring into the marriage Ava and Deacon, children she had with her ex-husband Ryan Philippe.
Witherspoon won an Oscar for playing June Carter Cash in the biographical drama movie Walk the Line. The 34-year-old actress has played Lisa in the recent film How Do You Know, Elle Woods in Legally Blonde, and Annie in Penelope.
Toth, 40, is an agent for Creative Artists Agency, one of Hollywood’s most respected talent agencies. Witherspoon is a CAA client but is represented by another agent, according to The Associated Press.
