Prince William says that his wife Kate Middleton is doing just okay with her second pregnancy.
The royals officially announced that a second baby is on the way a couple weeks ago, also revealing that Kate has severe morning sickness.
She has not been seen in public since mid-August.
Kate was originally slated to go on a solo trip to Malta representing the Queen but had to forgo the trip because of the sickness.
Prince William went instead, chatting with the hundreds of people who turned up to see him at St. George’s Square before he went to meet with the president.
Asked about Kate’s health by 70-year-old Sandra Lant, who was visiting from Suffolk, William said that “She’s so-so, she’s up and down at the moment.”
Many locals expressed disappointment that Kate couldn’t make the trip, saying that they would have preferred Kate to William.
A royal source told People magazine that Kate’s health is improving.
The source said that the princess is able to be up and about, though she still needs to be resting frequently.
Meanwhile, a number of reports are claiming that Kate is pregnant with twins.
And apparently the couple is expecting two girls, and have decided to name them Elizabeth and Margaret.
No male names have been reported as of yet.
