President Donald Trump has given Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden a new nickname, calling the former vice president “SleepyCreepy Joe.”
In a Twitter post on May 10, Trump made another prediction about the 2020 presidential election. He said, “Looks to me like it’s going to be SleepyCreepy Joe over Crazy Bernie.”
“Everyone else is fading fast!” Trump said referring to more than other 20 candidates.
The new moniker is an addition to his previous “Sleepy Joe” nickname, used in a previous prediction in April. In that tweet, Trump said, “I believe it will be Crazy Bernie Sanders vs. Sleepy Joe Biden as the two finalists to run against maybe the best Economy in the history of our Country (and MANY other great things)! I look forward to facing whoever it may be. May God Rest Their Soul!”
It appears the nickname “SleepyCreepy Joe” references the allegations of inappropriate behavior and uncomfortable touching made by several women prior to his announcement that he would join the 2020 race. So far eight women have come out to accuse Biden of the unwanted touching.
Trump has previously mocked the former vice president about the accusation by posting a meme video of Biden touching and sniffing himself. The video was captioned “Welcome Back Joe!”
He made the announcement through an over 3-minute video posted on his Twitter account.
Biden was President Barack Obama’s vice president from 2009 to 2017. Prior to that, he served as a senator in Delaware for almost 40 years. He previously ran for the presidency in 1988 and 2008 but did not run in 2016.
After Biden made his announcement, Trump responded saying, “Welcome to the race Sleepy Joe. I only hope you have the intelligence, long in doubt, to wage a successful primary campaign. It will be nasty—you will be dealing with people who truly have some very sick & demented ideas. But if you make it, I will see you at the Starting Gate!”
