PLDT HOME TVolution Philippines (Power Pinaoys) take on Lebanon Al-Zahra Al-Mina in the 2014 Asian Men’s Volleyball Championship, also known as the PLDT Home Fibr 2014 Asian Men’s Club Volleyball Championship.

The teams are playing for seventh place in the tournament after PLDT, the home team, lost 0-3 to Gas Al-Janoob and Al-Zahra lost 0-3 to Chinese Taipei.

The game is scheduled to start at 10 a.m. local time, kicking off the four games of the day.

It will be live streamed on PLDT and broadcast on TV5.

“We’re excited with holding the Asian championships here,” said Gary Dujali, VP and head of PLDT HOME Broadband, in a statement before the tournament started.

“Volleyball is a popular sport in the country, and to be able to bring in all these top-caliber athletes to watch upclose is going to be a treat to fans. We’re live streaming the games with TVolution so that subscribers can watch the action at the comfort of their home.”

Gas Al-Janoob will take on Chinese Taipei for fifth place at 12 p.m. while Kondensat-Zhaikmunay will face Beijing BAIC Motors for third place at 2 p.m.

The final match will be Al-Rayyan vs Matin Varamin, slated for 4 p.m.

The champion of the tournament will represent Asia at the 2014 FIVB Volleyball Men’s Club World Championship later this year.
