The brother of South African running star Oscar Pistorius was acquitted for the killing of a motorcyclist.
Carl Pistorius, 28, was not negligent in the death of Marietjie Barnard in March 2008, reported the BBC.
Prosecutors admitted they were unable to prove culpable homicide charges against him and would not take any more action.
A spokesperson with the court told Sky News that “we do accept the decision of the court and we will not be taking any further action on this case moving forward.”
“We are satisfied with the outcome and Carl is also happy to see the end of this case,” his lawyer Kenny Oldwage told the BBC.
His case has drawn attention after his brother was accused of shooting and killing his girlfriend earlier this year. Oscar Pistorius is charged with killing Reeva Steenkamp, but the double-amputee runner said he mistook her for a burglar and said the shooting was accidental.
