Samsung’s Galaxy S6 edge is still my favorite Android phone. The handset is sleek, stylish, solid and remarkably powerful. It features a stunning display and cutting-edge technology, all housed in a wonderful all-aluminum and glass enclosure. And now, it looks like we’re on the verge of seeing a fresh new version of the smartphone unveiled by Samsung.

Samsung typically has two major smartphone launches each year. First, we get a new Galaxy S model in 1H and then we get a new Galaxy Note phablet in 2H. This year, however, things are different.
First and foremost, Samsung debuted not one but two new Galaxy S models in the first half of the year: the Galaxy S6 and the Galaxy S6 edge. But that’s not all — it looks like there will be a big flagship phablet launch long before the new Galaxy Note 5 debuts at the IFA conference in September.
Several reports have suggested that Samsung will soon debut a new “Galaxy S6 Plus“ phablet. We’ve seen the details and a few small, blurry photos have leaked, but now we can get a clear picture of what the phone looks like thanks to a new leakfrom @OnLeaks.
In a nutshell, it looks like a Galaxy S6 edge, but bigger.
The phone’s design might not be very original and its rumored name might be an odd ripoff of the iPhone 6 Plus (Samsung has used “+” before in phone names, but it switched to “Plus” after the iPhone 6 Plus debuted), but the bottom line is simple: This is a bigger version of the Galaxy S6 edge, and the Galaxy S6 edge is a fantastic phone.
In addition to what we already knew about the phone, @OnLeaks thinks the handset will have a 5.5-inch display, based on leaked overall dimensions he obtained that state the handset’s housing will measure approximately 154.45 x 75.80 x 6.85 millimeters.
