NEW WINDSOR—For eight years now, the Saturday Night Cruisers Car Club has gotten together around 9/11 and raised money for first responders in the area by hosting a car show. One of the original club members, Tommy Kramer, died on 9/11, and so they are honoring him and others who gave their lives to save people that day.

Besides the car club members, people from other car clubs showed up with their cars and a few fire companies brought their fire trucks. By 1:00 p.m. they had more than 60 cars, and organizer Nick Lena expected they would have over 120 by the end. “You gotta be a car nut to really enjoy it, but most people here are car nuts,” he said.
