Perez Hilton stars in Millionaire Matchmaker on Thursday night, set up with one of the stars of Real Housewives of New York.
Hilton, 36, is best known for his celebrity gossip website, which has drawn both praise and scorn.
The intro videos for the matchmaker episode see Hilton proclaiming that he’s learned a lot since he first started the business.
“I kind of lost myself in this character I created, Perez Hilton. There was this big wake up call I had,” he said. The wake-up call was when he participated in making an anti-bullying video but then slammed by people who called him a bully.
“He’s nice, he’s generous, he’s nothing like the media have portrayed him,” said Patti Stanger, the matchmaker for the evening.
Hilton is set up with Sonja Morgan, a successful entrepreneur and star of RHONY, the popular reality show.
