“Payday 2” was released on Steam (with a $29.99 price), Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3 Tuesday and Overkill Software and 505 Games uploaded a final trial for the game--the sequel to 2011’s “Payday: The Heist.”

The launch trailer for the game shows a suspended-in-time scene, showing police rushing towards the scene of a bank robbery.

The game intends to be a four-player cooperative first-person-shooter with different classes, including the Mastermind, the Enforcer, the Technician, and the Ghost. They feature different skill trees for a different gameplay experience.

According to IB Times, the game has a new mission interface called the Crimenet, allowing users to unlock mission.

Gaming website Kotaku posted an initial review of the game, saying that the game is polished and offers a “novel” experience. “While the heist set-up is novel, and while there are few highs in multiplayer compared to the feeling of having coordinated teammates—something which Payday 2 demands—in a way, some of my enjoyment of Payday 2 hinges on what the franchise might become one day,” the website wrote.

Below is the trailer and WARNING: The footage is violent and might not be suitable for some.
